Terms of Service

These Terms of Service are a binding agreement between you and Trenith Technologies Private Limited(“HireRoom”, “we”), the operator of HireRoom. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use HireRoom.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You may not use HireRoom where prohibited by applicable law or export/sanctions rules.

Accounts are created and authenticated through Clerk. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for activity under your account. One account per person. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are fraudulent or abusive.

HireRoom offers a free tier and paid subscription tiers. Paid plans are billed through our payment processors — Razorpay for payments in Indian Rupees and PayPal for international payments in US Dollars (a legacy Stripe-via-Clerk path may apply to existing subscribers during the transition). Subscriptions renew automatically for the stated period until cancelled. Prices are shown at checkout inclusive of applicable taxes where required; we may change prices prospectively with prior notice. Card details are handled by the payment processor and are never stored on HireRoom servers.

You can cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals and access continues until the end of the paid period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable once a billing period has begun. If you believe you were charged in error, contact billing@hireroom.tech and we will investigate promptly.

You agree not to:

• use HireRoom to submit false, fraudulent, or misleading information to employers;
• abuse automation, rate limits, or credits, or attempt to circumvent plan gating;
• share, resell, or sublicense your account;
• reverse engineer, scrape, or copy the platform;
• infringe others’ rights or violate any applicable law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 of India.

HireRoom, including its software, design, and content, is owned by Trenith Technologies Private Limited and protected by the Copyright Act, 1957 and other laws. You retain ownership of the content you provide (your profile, resumes, and application data) and of documents generated for you. You grant us a limited licence to store and process that content solely to operate the service for you.

HireRoom uses AI to tailor resumes, cover letters, and analyses from your verified profile. We enforce a no-fabrication “honesty floor”, but AI can still make mistakes. You are responsible for reviewing any AI-generated content for accuracy before you use or submit it. You own the output subject to these Terms.

HireRoom integrates optional third-party services (for example Gmail/Outlook inbox connection and our sub-processors listed in the Privacy Policy). Your use of those services is subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party websites, employer/ATS pages, or job postings.

If you believe content on HireRoom infringes your rights, email legal@hireroom.tech with details of the content and your rights. We will review and act on valid complaints, including removal where appropriate, consistent with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Trenith Technologies Private Limited from claims arising out of your misuse of HireRoom, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law, to the extent permitted by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HireRoom’s total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost opportunities, employment outcomes, or data beyond our reasonable control. Nothing limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

HireRoom is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee interviews, offers, or employment outcomes.

You may stop using HireRoom and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or to comply with law. On termination, your data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will first be attempted to be resolved amicably; failing that, it will be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seated in India, and the courts at the registered office of Trenith Technologies Private Limited will have exclusive jurisdiction over matters not subject to arbitration.

We may update these Terms. For material changes we will give notice by email and an in-app banner before they take effect; continued use after that constitutes acceptance.
