What is an evidence-bound resume?

Does HireRoom auto-fill job applications?
The HireRoom Chrome extension can auto-fill applications on Greenhouse, Lever, and Ashby, where the field mapping is verified. For other application systems it labels autofill as unverified rather than silently guessing. You always review before you submit — HireRoom does not mass-submit on your behalf without your consent.
Which application systems does the HireRoom extension support?
Verified autofill covers Greenhouse, Lever, and Ashby today. The extension can also clip any job posting into your HireRoom workspace from any site. Support for additional applicant tracking systems is expanding.
Does HireRoom write fake or exaggerated resume content?
No. HireRoom enforces an honesty floor: the AI is blocked from injecting credentials, degrees, or claims you did not provide. If a fact is not in your profile, it will not appear in your generated resume or cover letter. This is a core design constraint, not a setting.
Can HireRoom help after a layoff?
Yes. HireRoom includes a layoff mode with real calculators for severance, COBRA health-coverage cost, unemployment benefits, and financial runway, alongside the core tools for quickly getting a focused search back up and running.
